Just got Mercury home, and he is pretty sedate - no doubt due to the sedatives. They gave him a bandanna around his neck, but I don't think teal is his color. He lost his 2 front teeth - his two favorite incisors for tearing fuzz off of stuffed animals! =( He also had two others on his left that fell out during the cleaning process. They gave him a shot of painkiller, and gave me some pills for the next couple days. I feel like a shitty parent, having him lose teeth to gingivitis, but ... these things happen? Given the poor condition of my own teeth, maybe it's a genetic issue.
